This place is amazing, the food is delicious, and the staff adds a special touch to your breakfast.
So I am always on the prowl for good breakfast joints. This is one of my new spots. I got the corn beef hash two eggs over medium sour dough toast and a cup of coffee. Meal was satisfying and to my surprise it came to just under 20 dollars with a tip. I was extremely pleased and even more happy the place is close to my house where I can pop in and get an inexpensive meal cooked right. Cornbeef was not super oily and the over medium eggs were cooked with no runny whites. Did not even need to ask for hot sauce as she brought it out with out being prompted. Service was good, place was kinda clean but not a concern for me. Good experience, and definitely a place I will visit again.....
My husband and I found this gem this weekend and I'm so glad we did! The place is really cute and everyone was really sweet! I had the hills special but subbed linguica for ground beef and YUM. I ALWAYS forget to take a picture before I dig in, so the photo attached is after I had started to enjoy. Husband had the mushroom burger and loved it! We will absolutely be back! Note: when busy parking might be a little tricky. We just pulled aside and waited about 3-5 minutes. No big deal!
One of the last basic breakfast and lunch diners left in the Castro Valley Hayward area with both Val's and Dell Cafe now closed. Good basic menu, good food, reasonable prices. Update July 13 Still a great place to go. Eggs especially delicious this morning.
What can you say, typical coffee shop, excellent food, good prices.
This place has great food they stay busy being next to the freeway. The French toast is spectacular and so is the chicken apple sausage breakfast
I had to take my dog to the excellent vet across the street ( chabot veterinary). So happy I stumbled upon this place. I got a very boring breakfast. Mind you that’s exactly what I wanted. Cooked to order. The dining room offers a view of the cook and kitchen. Staff were all super nice. The vibe is small town breakfast diner. The only thing missing is the proverbial counter. The breakfast burritos look real good. Next time!
6.8. . I was in the mood for breakfast and stopped into this dinner. The food was Ok nothing over the top, the service was great and it was quiet for a Friday morning.
